Rubber Flexible Cables

Rubber Flexible Cables in Dubai

Safety protocols and precautions are the highest priority for industrial facilities and venues. You cannot leave anything to chance, and therefore it makes sense for companies to choose the best cable type and quality.
Rubber Cables H07RN-F are the best choice for the job. It has great elasticity and excellent strength; has the efficiency to provide nonstop power supply to all kinds of portable and non-portable electrical equipment and devices.

The flexible rubber cables are

custom-made, and ably curtail the chances of fire accidents and mishaps in the event of internal and external irregularities. Because the rubber flexible cables are designed with compounds such as Rubber (EPR), Chlorosulphonated and Ethylene, etc. They enhance the usefulness and versatility.

The quality of rubber material that is used is one of the major reasons why the rubber cable is apt for power supply applications in mobile services and fixed installations.

Types of Rubber Flexible Cables

Rubber Sheathed Cable: made of copper wires and sheathed in rubber insulation, this type of cables can be used for a variety of electric machinery and constriction related projects. Able to withstand temperature ranging from -25C to +90C. Handles up to 450V/750V.

Rubber Welding Cable: As the name suggests, it is used mainly in the welding process. Multiple thin copper wire strands are grouped together by a long-lasting synthetic sheath. The sheath compromises of rubber and depending on niche usage, it can be red or black. Available in different sizes, depending on voltage usage.

Coil End Leads: prefect for instances where oil, heat and flame-resistant cables are needed. With the added protection of Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR), Class 5 flexible stranded tinned copper is sheathed with Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE). It is used mainly in electrical machinery and panel wiring. Providing a permanent, flexible and direct connection to coil winding for motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers and actuators. Available in Type 4 A – F and able to handle from 300V/1000V.

Submersible Cables: sturdy cables that allow an uninterrupted flow of current to your electrical appliance while being installed underwater. Due to its robust structure, made with a copper cable of superior quality it uses abrasion resilient compounds that make up the PVC Insulation, this works exceedingly well even in a highly demanding environment. These types of cables are deemed safe and reliable.

Reeling Power Cables: used for heavy duty crane and reeling applications, these provide excellent services and are reliable over long-term usage. They are able to withstand heavy duty impact, vibration, pulling, abrasions, tensions and extreme temperatures.

Why Use Rubber For Cable Insulation?

Rubber is used an insulation for cables due to several reasons.
  • Rubber is flexible and light, allowing it to move and bend freely.
  • Since rubber is an insulator, the overall diameter of the cables is not extremely thick but small and manageable.
  • They have a good wear resistance and elasticity, and can withstand a great amount of mechanical and electrical forces.
  • Can be used both outdoors and indoors.

Is the Rubber Cable Waterproof?

Rubber cables are indeed waterproof. They come in different levels of insulation but resistant to both oil or water. In addition to being waterproof they are also abrasion resistant, and corrosion resistant. It also supports high flow of electric current.
What Is The Difference Between Silicone Rubber Cable And Rubber Cable?
  • Silicone Rubber cables are used mainly for AC rating of 0.6/1kV or below while Rubber cables are able to withstand a higher flow of electrical current, up to a 1000V.
  • Both types of cables are flexible, however silicone is best used in low temperatures while rubber is better suited for high temperatures.
  • Silicone cables are used in the petrochemical, electric power, electronic and automobile manufacturing industries while rubber cables are used in everyday appliances, electric machinery, power cable appliances and electrical devices.
What is the difference between Rubber Cable and PVC Cable
  • PVC is a common material used withing the industry as it is the cheapest with the wide array of uses. Rubber is slightly on the pricier side and is prone to getting dirtier faster.
  • PVC can handle different temperatures ranging from – 10C to 70C. Rubber cables can handle temperatures -30C to 120C.
  • PVC cable is not flexible as rubber cable, which is highly flexible and heat resistant.
  • PVC is better suited for indoor use over Rubber which can be used for both outdoor and in industrial settings.
  • PVC are thick, heavy and can wear out easily unlike rubber cables.
  • Rubber cables can be environment friendly over PCV insulated cables.
